After much thinking I have decided that these characters and another set of characters I have revamped will be combined so these guys are now going to be Flint and Floke. They will likely still use the alias Gem and Ini tho. =3 This isn't their usual attire tho. I've tweaked it a bit.

*smirk* See? I did do these poor kids some justice! It just took me several years.... O_o
Now i shall introduce you formally to some of my own brain babies - Drum roll please - The Gemini Twins - Gem (red) and Ini (blue). And wow! What genius and cleverness i possessed way back when to name them that!

(OLD INFO THAT NO LONGER IMPLIES TO THESE GUYS SINCE I HAVE SINCE CHANGED AND COMBINED CHARACTERS TO SAVE ON MENTAL SPACE =3)

Alls you really need to know is that i like these guys - i have a soft spot for um - they're wickedly devious, and they have a habit of stealing and murdering. Not to mention I'm a sucker for Jesters so i may have to revisit these two and draw um a bit more.

I originally was going to stick pretty close to my original art with minor changes of these two but i couldn't help myself and basically did a total tear down and build up of them. I kept the most important things tho,
1) the red and blue color schemes
2) their markings for the most part
3) the gem in their hats
4) Jesters! XD
5) they're still dudes....
6) they're still the Gemini Twins damnit!

I even added in a little buddy for these two - that cute little puppet, Jacksie. A familiar of sorts to the twins.

Originally this pic was gonna be in pen and ink as i kinda wanted to get back into what i started with =3, but about half way through i decided i wanted COLOR thus i dug out some colored pencils and did some coloring while other coloring i just did in PS. So that's the reason for there being a bunch already done in pen which tragically couldn't be undone... *cries for the really bad parts that are forever set in black ink that not even white out could save*

But the major thing i wanted was achieved in this pic despite the flaws - I finally was able to make these guys as psychotic and wicked looking as i had orignally invisioned them with a hint of that purtyness buried somwhere amongst it....you just have to look really hard *squeals in delight*



*semi-long dead book idear rant ahead*

These two fella's were spawned from a friend and mines old fantasy based story - "The Battle of the Stars" - which essentially was a story about all the people/animals of the zodiac being engaged in some millenia old battle of good and evil. But with a bunch of teenagers thrown in to make it more... interesting.... It was also in the evolving story that the character 'AndreAla Rae' came to be since i didn't want to use my own name in our story. _{Now you know where my user-name comes from!}
Getting back on track, these two guys were among the 'corrupt' Zodiacians (too lazy to come up with anything cooler sounding) as well as the most lethal. They are quite the clever twosome....

But that's all ancient history as "The Book" as it was called between my friend and I just kept evolving into something different with each passing year until i finally realized that there WAS no real storyline, nor was it ever going to be worked upon. So we killed it officially about 3 years back, but the characters still remain up here *knocks on noggin*.

Further backstory on these guys? I totally based upon FFIX's Zorn and Thorn cuz i loved them guys from that game.
Other than that there is nothing more. I never really spent enough time thinkin bout these guys to give um a past. Tho with the 'original' story dead i fancy thinkin of these two as a couple of somewhat deranged psychotic twins that traverse the countryside robbing kings of their wealth under a permanent guise of Jesters.

They act the part of a fool for a kings court, they lure them into the trap then they pounce when the time is right and take what they want and kill who they want to kill. They're not picky and they're not intent upon killing every living soul around, they just do what they want to do. Simple as that. Stealing and murdering just happens to be among the long list of things they do.

These guys arn't good, they're not bad, they just are.


In whole i am happeh with the result.... just give me another 6 years and i'll be screaming about how bad this pic is and redraw it again. Oh and i'll be uploading a flipped version of this so y'all can at least get a good look at Ini without having to stand on yer head to do so.
